Writing a Useful Extension For FireFox 2.0.0.x
I have started a new project, to make an extension for Firefox that switches between some number of homepages, either randomly, set to a time schedule (it is 8:00am, my homepage must be a work-related resource :: conversely, it is 8:00 pm my homepage is my online class login), or changed by manual over-ride (similar to “turn the switcher off”). Have you ever wished you had such a utility? If so, comment to give me strength and encouragement to continue.
This is a flow-chart of what I have in mind. This is probably not the best way to show what is essentially an XML document, but it may give you an idea where I think it could go.
I am thinking clicking the button will give you a small dialog such as:
