FCC Upholds Net Neutrality
This issue has been pending for some time, but for now has been resolved. The FCC upholds “Net Neutrality,” which means that carriers will be legally restrained from charging excess fees or restricting bandwidth based on protocol (ala bittorrent) for heavy usage. For a little longer treatment of the issue, look here http://thehill.com/leading-the-news/obamas-fcc-to-enforce-net-neutrality-2009-08-25.html
This is a good step toward equal Internet access for all!!
