Learn PHP from Videos and Text

I have launched a course in beginning PHP coding. PHP is in 6th place on Tiobe.com’s programming community index. PHP is also, in my opinion, the easiest to learn of the top 6

“The TIOBE Programming Community index is an indicator of the popularity of programming languages. The index is updated once a month. The ratings are based on the number of skilled engineers world-wide, courses and third party vendors. The popular search engines Google, Bing, Yahoo!, Wikipedia, YouTube and Baidu are used to calculate the ratings. Observe that the TIOBE index is not about the best programming language or the language in which most lines of code have been written.

The index can be used to check whether your programming skills are still up to date or to make a strategic decision about what programming language should be adopted when starting to build a new software system.”

The course has 17 weeks of course videos as well as 3 more weeks of bonus material.  The first month is entirely free for you to try the course.  If you do not like it, cancel before the month is over and pay nothing.  You get to keep all the materials you downloaded and all of the knowledge you gleaned from that point.  For my colleagues in college courses getting their chops – when was the last time any education came to you “free to try?”

To sign up for the course, go to http://jsquirrel.com

Feel free to get your PHP training. Site list members get a month for free, so you can trial it if you are a member. My comment forms automatically set you up as a site member, but if you don’t double-opt in you will not get alerts and suggestions.
